We are really pleased with our medal design for the Cheddar Gorge Challenge 2013 medals this year.
The medal ribbons will be hung from the X marks on the above design and the ribbon colours will match the enamelling of each medal. The medals will piece together like a jigsaw to give those who complete the Cheddar Challenge, a very special set of medals indeed!
We are returning to regular blogging on the Relish site; it has been a while, but we feel this is the best way to keep runners up to date about our latest races, ideas and developments. We will also try and gather your feedback and run ideas past you, our runners for what they would like to see at future events - do let us know your thoughts and we will bring your feedback into our next races!
Our winter x-country series is now up and running and it is going to around the beautiful Bath Skyline route. The Skyline walk is a National Trust route which passes along public footpaths and through National Trust land. This is a hilly 10km loop and we are making this into two separate races.

Relish Running Races were delighted their final event of the series drew another superb field of runners for a fantastic day of racing at Dyrham Park.
The 10km series was topped by the incredible Will Christofi, a day after celebrating his 17th birthday, with a new course record of 36.58. Quickest woman in the 10km was 19-year old Naomi Webber and the 3km winner was Emma Jones at merely 11 years old, h are going to be exciting to watch develop into brilliant senior runners over the next few ...

enjoyed by all at the beautiful National Trust property Dyrham Park.
With 10km, 3km, relay and 300m races there was fun for all levels of
experience.

We had a wonderful day at Dyrham today... the sun shone, the park looked stunning and the runners all did a fantastic job!! Congratulations, it was a very tough course. Thank you all for coming and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
Don't forget... we will be repeating the fun on 7th August and 18th September - we'd love to see you there.

It is race morning and we are all ready to go. Course is marked, marshals are ready and fantastic mementos are at hand. 150 people are already signed up and we have space for more on the day if you are still thinking of racing.

We're very excited about the first race, only days to go! We've got some important announcements that will be going round in an email to you all over the weekend, they are;
- The 3km fun run will now start at the same time as the 10km events, 12:00. - The 300m fun run has been brought forward to 13:45 - Race information and current start lists will go up on Saturday afternoon - No dogs are allowed in the park, there is a dog walking area in the car park
With only 3 weeks to go it has been time to make another trip, tough I know, to Dyrham Park to finalise the route and see the park in it's full summer glory.
Meet Neptune - he is going to be stationed at the second marshalling point on the ridge above the house, keeping a watchful eye over proceedings
There have also been many new arrivals in the Park, with many baby deer getting acquainted with their new home
