Cheddar Gorge Outdoor Festival - 23rd - 24th June

As this is running races are taking place with the festival, with a whole range of free to attend music and talks, there is a small admission fee (a Day Ticket) for spectators to enter the festival area, within which the race village, start and finish is located. Runners of any distance do not need to pay any additional admission fee. Day Ticket festival tickets can be purchased on the day, or in advance.
From organised trail running races and mountain biking / road cycling sportives, through to expert-led small-group activities such as kayaking, climbing, caving, wild swimming, food foraging, themed walks and even archery and axe throwing - there will be something to excite and challenge everyone, no matter how experienced or fit you are. The event will be fully family friendly, with adventures suitable for a range of age groups.
People can seize the one-off opportunity to pitch their tent in a unique pop-up campsite at the top of the gorge, and enjoy everything the festival has to offer for the whole weekend, or just visit for the day on Saturday and/or Sunday.
South West Outdoor Festival Activities
Besides the activities and challenges taking place across the weekend, the festival hub will feature live music, speakers, films, story tellers, bush craft sessions, skills clinics and vendors selling high quality regional produce, including local beers, ciders and juices.
